Introduction
In this era, the importance and need of gaining deeni knowledge is evident for anyone aware of their surroundings. It is also evident that in this era full of mischief, where actions are driven by nafs and belief in Science is superseding everything else, batil is dedicated to spreading worldwide. Batil uses all available and modern means such as the internet and social media to misrepresent Islam, to move people away from Quran & Sunnah and Ahlus-Sunnah, and make people go astray from the righteous path (i.e. Islam). Batil is propagating its beliefs and advancing its adulterated agenda in the name of the Quran and Hadith. However, upon close analysis, its reality is found as deception and misrepresentation. As a result of these tactics, gullible Muslims who only have worldly education quickly become prey to this deceit (sometimes even resulting in contempt and apostasy).
Therefore, in western societies like America and Europe, the importance of gaining authentic deeni knowledge becomes all more crucial. In this respect, utilization of modern means such as social media within the permissible bounds, it is incumbent upon the ulama of the ummah to correctly represent, propagate, publish and safeguard the actual teachings of Quran and Sunnah and thus help the Muslim ummah. This strive is to make sure that the Muslim ummah will be saved from becoming an example of the following hadith of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam:
اتخذالناس رؤسا جھالا فافتوا بغیر علم فضلوا واضلوا (بخاری کتاب العلم )100
Translation: When the day of judgment will be near, knowledge will start diminishing, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala will remove ulama from the ummah and thus take away the great bounty of ilm. People will make illiterates their leaders, those leaders will render rulings without ilm, thus going astray themselves as well as making their followers go astray.
Shah Maseehullah Academy is one of the links in the same chain of institutions, which propagates the authentic teachings of Islam. It takes its name from the pious waliullah Hazrat Mawlana Shah Maseehullah Khan Sahib (RA). It was inaugurated by Hazrat Mufti Shah Mohammed Navalur Rahman Sahib (DB) in Shawwal 1437. Using the services of some of the best huffaz and ulama kiram, this online academy is offering reduced and full-length Alimiyah courses, Hifz, Nazirah, Imamat courses, etc. This is a golden opportunity for expatriates, full-time employees, children, adults, men and women who do not get a chance in the usual “fixed time fixed-day schedules” of (regular) institutions due to their extreme business in work or household activities.
Shah Maseehullah Academy will provide an opportunity to gain deeni knowledge according to your availability and flexibility, instead of binding you (and everyone else) to one fixed schedule. As a result, people who longed for gaining deeni knowledge knew its importance. However, due to their own business or unavailability of flexible teachers (or institutions), we cannot spend time in this effort, can now quench their thirst and fulfill their desires to gain an authentic knowledge of Islam.
Objectives
Goals of Shah Maseehullah Academy
- Propagate genuine and authentic teachings and interpretations of the Quran and Hadith to the Muslim ummah in writings, speeches and education.
- Individual (one on one) or class based-education – arrangements for matching the students with expert teachers (male and female) for Nazirah, Revision or Memorization of Quran, Reduced or Full-Length Alimiyah Courses, 6 Month Imamat Course, Tafsir, Hadith, Arabic and Urdu Language Courses.
- Particular focus on people who cannot join a regular Islamic Institute or where these Islamic institutions are not available, online education will make all the difference.
- Guide the Muslim ummah (in the form of questions and answers) in the light of the Quran and Sunnah.
- Propagate important fatawa from authentic Darul-ifta and expert Muftian-e-Kiram to help the Muslim ummah with complex modern issues and keep them informed.
- Compile and publish Islamic books and articles on topics like Tabhleegh, Islah-e-Nafs and many more.
- Push back on batil by rectifying its false propaganda, which is being used to malign and misrepresent Islam, its teachings and its faithful followers.
- We are fostering a scholarly environment for learning and teaching by providing a solid platform to young and new ulama and Muftian-e-Kiram.
- Such Islamic knowledge seekers who only want to read or repeat a book on a specific topic (rather than taking a long or full-length course), e.g. Sarf, Nahw, Usool, Balaghat, Adab etc., particular expert Ulama Kiram and dedicated teachers will be provided for them for a unique crash course. This will help gain knowledge much easier than the classical teaching and learning method.
